Houston Shuts Out San Francisco, 6-0 Sunday, May 29th , 1977 Dick Knight was dynamite at Sam Houston Field, blowing away the San Francisco Seagulls in a shutout victory. The Houston Drillers starter had everything working as he held the Seagulls to 7 hits in the 6-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said San Francisco skipper Al Borie. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Knight finished the game with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.
