Magic was in the air and on the mound at Bluff Park, as Charlie Sokol held the Los Angeles Pobladores spellbound in his 7-0 shutout victory. The Dallas Wranglers pitcher went the distance, rang up 6 strikeouts, walked 2, and held the Pobladores to 4 hits.
"He just had us in his thrall," Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson said. "We couldn't put anything together against him."
