Church Twirls 2-0 Shutout Saturday, June 9th , 1962 Dave Church was impressive at Flatbush Park today in the Milwaukee Dairymen' 2-0 shutout victory over the Brooklyn Bluebirds. The Milwaukee pitcher mystified the Bluebirds in a strong performance, giving up 6 hits and totaling 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. "Dave had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley. "It was something special to watch."
