Red-Hot Weintraub Cools Off San Diego Sunday, June 13th , 1976 Ralph Weintraub of the Philadelphia Quakers toyed with the San Diego Captains, as he shut them out, 6-0, at Quakers Stadium. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 3-hitter with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Weintraub said in the clubhouse after the game.
