Hit Parade: Anderson Pops 5 Hits Saturday, June 25th , 1977 Today at Monument Field, the Kansas City Bulls fell to the Washington Eagles despite a splendid performance by center fielder Bob Anderson. Anderson had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Eagles pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Kansas City to come away with the win. Washington whipped Kansas City by a score of 7-6. Bob Anderson hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
