Litwak Superb Against Atlanta Sunday, June 20th , 1976 Detroit Wolverines starter Scott Litwak really did a number on the Atlanta Generals, shutting them out, 8-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 3 walks and had 6 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Litwak."
