San Diego Swaps DeGagne to Toronto for Gordon Monday, June 10th , 1974 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the San Diego Captains have swapped 23-year old LHP Tom DeGagne to the Toronto Hurons for 28-year old RHP Ron Gordon. The Captains GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." This season, Gordon has picked up no saves and posted a 0-3 record with a 7.83 ERA. He has 9 relief appearances, tossed 23 innings and struck out 25. |
