Brooks Thwarts Twin Cities, 7-0 Wednesday, July 28th , 1976 In a seemingly effortless performance, Ray Brooks of the San Francisco Seagulls shot down the Twin Cities Northmen, 7-0, on 5 hits. "Ray was just locating so well and using his pitches," San Francisco manager Al Borie said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Brooks recorded 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim said in postgame comments to BNN.
