Brooks Thwarts Twin Cities, 7-0

In a seemingly effortless performance, Ray Brooks of the San Francisco Seagulls shot down the Twin Cities Northmen, 7-0, on 5 hits.
"Ray was just locating so well and using his pitches," San Francisco manager Al Borie said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Brooks recorded 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
Over the season, Brooks has made 14 relief appearances with 2 saves. He has K'd 26 batters in 68.2 innings, yielded 25 walks and has a 2.88 ERA. Brooks's record this year is 3-3.
