Wade Dominates Philadelphia Tuesday, August 3rd , 1976 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Philadelphia Quakers as starter Kevin Wade shut them out, 7-0, at Quakers Stadium. The Brooklyn pitcher struck out 2 and walked 0 while allowing 2 hits. "Wade was good but he wasn't flawless," Philadelphia manager Jeff Green said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Brooklyn, but this is on us."
