Nall at His Best, Blanks Philadelphia Saturday, August 7th , 1976 It wasn't easy but Joe Nall made it look that way. Nall silenced the Philadelphia Quakers, 5-0, in a Pittsburgh Industrials triumph at Allegheny Field. Despite the appearance of dominance, Nall said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 3 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." Nall has made 6 starts this season, posting 2 wins and 1 loss.
