Barron Shuts Out Twin Cities, 4-0 Thursday, August 12th , 1976 Montreal's Rich Barron brought his best stuff to LaSalle Stadium, shutting down and shutting out the Twin Cities Northmen, 4-0. He racked up 8 strikeouts, surrendered 2 hits, and issued 2 walks on his way to the victory. "We barely made him work at all," Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim said later.
