Barron Shuts Out Twin Cities, 4-0

Montreal's Rich Barron brought his best stuff to LaSalle Stadium, shutting down and shutting out the Twin Cities Northmen, 4-0. He racked up 8 strikeouts, surrendered 2 hits, and issued 2 walks on his way to the victory.
"We barely made him work at all," Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim said later. "Montreal could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted."
So far in 24 appearances this season, Barron has recorded 11 wins and sustained 7 losses. He has pitched 165.1 innings, yielded 166 hits, fanned 103 and has a 3.27 ERA.
