John Shuts Out Boston, 4-0

In a remarkable performance, Toronto Hurons starter Bill John beat the Boston Terriers, 4-0, in an impressive 4-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Hurons hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," Boston manager David Molina said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
Currently John has a record of 10-4 with 67 strikeouts and 31 walks in 138.1 innings and a 1.69 ERA.
