Chicago's Morales ABL Star of the Week Monday, September 6th , 1976 It was an extraordinary week for Sergio Morales of the Chicago Hawks. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .478, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Baseball League. Last week Morales went 11-for-23, racked up 1 home run and 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Chicago second baseman. This year, Morales has hit at a .266 pace and produced 53 RBIs, 13 home runs and scored 57 runs. |
