Los Angeles's Frederick to Miss 5 Weeks Sunday, June 29th , 1975 Ken Frederick of the Los Angeles Blockbusters was injured in today's game against Milwaukee and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a fractured foot, and he is expected to be out for up to 5 weeks. It happened while Frederick was being hit by a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Hitting .309 to date, Frederick has 13 home runs and 74 RBIs. He has played in 73 games. |
