Mojica Beguiles Milwaukee Monday, July 28th , 1975 The Milwaukee Dairymen were almost helpless in their 8-0 loss to the Chicago Traders and hurler Jose Mojica. Mojica kept the Dairymen confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Mojica," Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 34-year-old right-hander had 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Mojica said.
