Atlanta Blanks Dallas, 3-0 Wednesday, July 30th , 1975 Gary Ovitt was in a mood to talk following the Atlanta Generals contest against the Dallas Wranglers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Wranglers, 3-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Ovitt said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again." The right-hander blanked Dallas on a 3-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 5 strikeouts. So far this season, Ovitt has 11 wins and 9 losses and a 2.40 ERA.
