Northmen Blank Hawks, Sokol Winner

Chicago dropped a 5-0 shutout to Charlie Sokol and the Twin Cities Northmen at Twin Cities Stadium today. The Hawks offered little resistance to Sokol, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 6 and walked 1.
"It just felt right today," the left-handed Sokol told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
This year Sokol has recorded a 14-9 mark. In 28 starts he has fanned 165 batters in 221.2 innings with a 2.48 ERA.
