Romano Smacks 5 Hits for Bobcats Sunday, August 3rd , 1975 It was a parade of hits for Alan Romano of the Cleveland Bobcats at Lakefront Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Romano finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bobcats to a win, 7-6. "Romano was really good and we were really bad," groaned Industrials manager Vincent Wicker. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Alan Romano doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
