Schar Shuts Out Baltimore, 5-0 Sunday, August 10th , 1975 In a seemingly effortless performance, Bob Schar of the Montreal Habitants shot down the Baltimore Lords, 5-0, on 6 hits. "Bob was just locating so well and using his pitches," Montreal manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Schar recorded 5 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Baltimore manager Steve Read said in postgame comments to BNN.
