Thursday, September 28th , 1967
Dan Hamlyn was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 6-5 Dallas Wranglers triumph at Twin Cities Stadium today.

The 34-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Wranglers past the Twin Cities Northmen.

"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Hamlyn told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."

The catcher went 3-for-5, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.

Dan Hamlyn struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dave Gilson in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Curt Kirkley in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Tommy Lloyd in the 10th.

This season Hamlyn is batting .246 with 72 hits, 19 home runs, 57 RBIs, .328 OBP and has scored 38 runs.
