Tuesday, October 10th , 1967
The Dallas Wranglers are one step closer to the World Series.
The club prevailed 2-1 at Bluff Park tonight to eliminate the Detroit Wolverines and advance to the World Series.
The Wranglers won the series by a 4-2 margin, with catcher and series MVP Dan Hamlyn leading the way.
"I'm proud of all the guys," Hamlyn said. "This was a team effort, not just me."
The Dallas Wranglers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the St. Louis Explorers - Pittsburgh Industrials series. Pittsburgh leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
