Cardenas Too Tough, Blanks Cincinnati Thursday, September 8th , 1977 It was not a good day at the plate for the Cincinnati Packers. They came up empty when it mattered against Cleveland Bobcats right-hander Bruce Cardenas, who scattered 2 hits across 9 innings and held the Packers scoreless.
