Sandoval Tosses Shutout Against St. Louis

Brooklyn Bluebirds right-hander Jorge Sandoval used his full arsenal to shoot down the St. Louis Explorers, 2-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 2 walks and striking out 3. Sandoval allowed 8 hits in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and St. Louis was on a way, way different page," Sandoval said.
This year, Sandoval has compiled a 12-10 record with a 3.54 ERA.
