Arndt Shuts Out Seattle, 1-0
Saturday, September 6th , 1975
Los Angeles Pobladores starter Jim Arndt really did a number on the Seattle Emeralds, shutting them out, 1-0, on 6 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 5 strikeouts.

"We didn't have good at-bats," said Seattle manager Mark Velez. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Arndt."

In the current season in 29 starts, Jim Arndt has a record of 13-9 with 100 strikeouts in 190.2 innings and a 3.82 ERA.
