Juarez Shuts Out Seattle
Saturday, September 20th , 1975
In a seemingly effortless performance, Ramon Juarez of the San Francisco Seagulls shot down the Seattle Emeralds, 10-0, on 3 hits.

"Ramon was just locating so well and using his pitches," San Francisco manager Al Borie said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Juarez recorded 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Seattle manager Mark Velez said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

In 32 starts this year, Juarez has fashioned a 16-9 record and a 2.82 ERA.
