Pardoe Shuts Out Toronto, 1-0
Wednesday, September 24th , 1975
John Pardoe was in a mood to talk following the Baltimore Lords contest against the Toronto Hurons, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Hurons, 1-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Pardoe said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The left-hander blanked Toronto on a 7-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 4 strikeouts.
To date Pardoe is 8-10 in 28 starts with a 2.99 ERA and has 100 strikeouts in 180.2 innings.
