Cwiklinski Thwarts Baltimore, 7-0 Saturday, August 31st , 1974 In a seemingly effortless performance, Ron Cwiklinski of the Atlanta Generals shot down the Baltimore Lords, 7-0, on 6 hits. "Ron was just locating so well and using his pitches," Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Cwiklinski recorded 3 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Baltimore manager Steve Read said in postgame comments to BNN.
