Hawks Shut Out by Hall, 13-0
Saturday, September 23rd , 1972
Ben Hall kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Twin Cities Northmen were all smiles after winning, 13-0, against the Chicago Hawks at Twin Cities Stadium. The right-handed Hall gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits, and tallied 9 strikeouts.

"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Hall said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."

This season, Hall has 11 wins and 8 losses and a 2.84 ERA.
