Detroit's Harrison Injured, Out of Lineup Wednesday, March 24th , 1976 When Fred Harrison was hurt against the Toronto Hurons, the Detroit Wolverines were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 37-year-old reliever suffered a torn back muscle throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Harrison would miss 5 months of the season. |
