Briggs Whips Washington, 3-0
Tuesday, April 13th , 1976
Bob Briggs was dynamite at Monument Field, blowing away the Washington Eagles in a shutout victory. The Pittsburgh Industrials starter had everything working as he held the Eagles to 2 hits in the 3-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Washington skipper Brandon Tucker. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."

Briggs finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk.
