Langham Shuts Out Milwaukee
Saturday, April 24th , 1976
In a seemingly effortless performance, Bob Langham of the Denver Burros shot down the Milwaukee Dairymen, 6-0, on 3 hits.
"Bob was just locating so well and using his pitches," Denver manager Clark Anderson said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Langham recorded 2 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
