Quakers Sneak By Bulls, 3-2
Philadelphia Quakers starter Pat Graham turned in an exceptional performance against the Kansas City Bulls at Quakers Stadium, resulting in a Philadelphia win, 3-2. The loss drops the Kansas City record to a disappointing 12-17.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Philadelphia right fielder Jim Vadnais, facing Ron Maisner, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Quakers the 3-2 win.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Jeff Green, the Philadelphia skipper. "This one tested us."
