Chicago Shut Out, 1-0, By Seagulls, Stambaugh

Tim Stambaugh was dynamite at Mission Field, blowing away the Chicago Hawks in a shutout victory. The San Francisco Seagulls starter had everything working as he held the Hawks to 6 hits in the 1-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Chicago skipper Mike Flaherty. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Stambaugh finished the game with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.
This season, Stambaugh has compiled a 10-3 mark with a 1.84 ERA in 16 starts.
